Rim Design

The FC-W50 rim was developed with valuable feedback from riders in mind to allow for wider tires. The 31mm external width is aerodynamically optimized for 28c and 30c tires. Additionally, the internal width is set at 23mm to allow for an ideal tire shape that maximizes grip and comfort and minimizes rolling resistance. Made in Japan, Toray carbon fiber is used to ensure the highest quality. The wider width allows for better compatibility with wider tires, improving performance and versatility.

Aerodynamic Carbon Spokes

We use 5.20mm aero bladed carbon spokes, which are lighter and more aerodynamically optimized, reducing vibrations and improving contact with the road, creating a more comfortable ride. In laboratory tests, we have seen a 10% increase in lateral stiffness, which translates into more efficient power transfer while riding.

True roundness <±0.15mm & flatness <0.2mm
The true roundness and flatness tests ensure the roundness of the rim and the overall flatness of the sidewall, which is the most basic requirement for product styling.

Vertical Impact Stiffness z2.5+ UCI Standard
Carbon fiber rims tend to break when impacted, so all new products must pass factory impact testing before going into production. The UCI International Cycling Federation's impact test standard is 40 joules, while our test standard is 2.5 times the UCI standard.

Wheel runout <±0.20mm
Each wheel is assembled by a wheel assembler with 17 years of experience. They will strictly adjust the wheel rim, spokes, nipples, and hubs to the best condition. Our technicians never miss any details, including true roundness, runout, amplitude, and tension.

Inflation deformation <0.25mm
During the inflation deformation test, each wheel rim will be placed under the maximum high pressure (15 minutes) to observe the deformation of the groove lip.

Wheelset fatigue test 640 Nm torque 50,000 times
CNC processing, anodizing..., from raw materials to finished products, every link is strictly controlled, which ultimately ensures that our hubs pass the 640Nm torque 50,000 times fatigue test, and the ratchet has undergone 100,000 times fatigue test.
